RENOVACIÓN EN METRO DE SANTO DOMINGO: PLAFONES ASEGURADOS
El Metro de Santo Domingo tuvo un incidente en la estación Rosa Duarte donde se desprendieron plafones del techo, pero afortunadamente no hubo heridos. La Oficina para el Reordenamiento del Transporte (Opret) ordenó una breve interrupción en el servicio para corregir la situación.
A pesar del desprendimiento de los plafones, la operación del tren continuó con normalidad después de retirar los elementos afectados. La rápida respuesta de la Opret permitió solucionar el incidente sin mayores consecuencias.

El Metro de Santo Domingo faced an incident at Rosa Duarte station where ceiling panels detached, luckily causing no injuries. The Office for the Reorganization of Transportation (Opret) ordered a brief interruption in service to correct the situation.
Despite the detachment of the panels, train operations continued normally after the affected elements were removed. Opret’s swift response allowed to resolve the incident without further consequences.
