REUNIÓN DEL PRESIDENTE POR TORMENTA MELISSA
El presidente Luis Abinader se reunirá esta tarde a las 6:30 PM con el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) para discutir la situación generada por la tormenta tropical Melissa. Este encuentro abordará temas relevantes como la educación y el horario laboral ante el impacto del fenómeno climático. Según la directora del Instituto Dominicano de Meteorología, las lluvias se extenderán hasta el sábado, posiblemente acumulando hasta 500 milímetros en algunas regiones del país. Se mantienen alertas amarillas en 13 provincias y el Distrito Nacional, mientras que otras nueve están en alerta verde. The meeting will focus on important issues such as education and work schedules in light of the weather impacts. The director of the Dominican Meteorological Institute has warned that rain will continue until Saturday, with accumulations expected to reach up to 500 millimeters in some areas.
